I moonlight as a caterer.

Monday I taught a lesson in the French geography class, it was about the fishing industry and the problems associated with it. Needless to say, I don’t know much about that so I had to educate myself.

Anyways, I made a worksheet and taught the lesson. After class the teacher asked to speak to me, so I assumed I had messed something up. Nope. She said “Ashley, just wanted to tell you that was awesome. You were comfortable, engaging, and the material was presented clearly. You look like you’ve been teaching for years.”

Oh man! That makes my heart so happy. Even thinking about it now, it feels amazing. I really do think I am 100% making the right choice with teaching.
